This traditional Black Tea is named after its region of production in north-eastern India, Assam, lying on either side of the Brahmaputra River. The tropical climate contributes to the Assam’s unique malty taste.
Assam Tea or blends containing it, are often sold as ‘Breakfast Teas’.
A strong tea, Assam is usually consumed with milk or sugar, but we invite you to try to drink it straight, to enjoy the full flavour of this high quality loose-leaf variety
